Membership organisation going from strength to strength

The European Association for Cancer Research is a world-wide membership organisation for scientists involved in cancer research. Website developer Peter Bourne Communications has worked with the association for nearly 10 years.

Earlier this year we launched a new version of their website. The site is responsive and works wonderfully on a range of browsing devices - including mobile phones.

The public-facing website is only a small part of the development though. Behind the scenes is a membership database that helps the team administer members and various events. Payment integration with PayPal is also included in the website.

Members of the association can log on and update their profile information - share contact information with other members and view a history of past meetings and events attended.

Andrew Binns, Membership Manager at EACR said:

"We wanted a completely new, device-responsive website to replace our old site. Peter worked with us to build the site around our individual needs and requirements, some of which were very complicated and challenging! We are delighted with the end result."
